Come join the revelry
as The Center for Creative History brings you the sights, sounds and tastes of the Renaissance!

Raise your voice in joyous laughter as the Comedia Dell Arte play the fool for your entertainment! See entertaining sword fighters, clever-footed Morris dancers, bawdy washer women and more spectacular entertainment on seven stages throughout the faire. 

Taste exotic foods freshly prepared for your pleasure. Experience the taste of fine brews and aged wines and seize the day! Come see for yourself why the merchants of England were of mighty renown. Experience the exotic spices, fine oils, hand-crafted jewelry, romantic clothing, incense, and so much more! 

Ren Fair fun

Where: Map  The English village is located on the grassy lawns directly north of Morley Field at the corner of Jacaranda Place and Jacaranda Drive, San Diego, CA. We recommend Yahoo! Maps or MapQuest for directions.
When: August 2nd 9:30 to 7:00 p.m., and August 3rd from 9:30 to 6:00 p.m.   Gates open at 10:00 A.M. - Front Gate show starts at 9:30 A.M.
Ticket Price:
Group Sales
Adults $15.00,  Seniors 55+, Reservists, Military Dependents and Students with ID $10.00, Children 6 - 12 $5.00, Military with ID and children 5 and under are free. We do not offer advanced Ticket sales at this time. Group rates tickets can be purchased at front gate with all members of group present at time of sale.
Parking: Plenty of FREE parking for Patrons located adjacent to the faire
Entertainment: Eight stages of continuous entertainment featuring brave knights battling with live steel, the exotic gypsies, clever footed dancers, Shakespearian foolery, rousing musicians and more!
Food Policy: The San Diego Renaissance Faire features the finest quality foods for your pleasure, however please feel free to bring in a picnic to enjoy. No outside alcoholic beverages will be permitted inside of the faire.
Pet Policy: Sorry, but No pets or animals are allowed. Service dogs are allowed with their owners.
Costumes: Costumes are encouraged! Come in your finest festival garb to see the Lord Mayor and his merry villagers!
Era: Relive the splendor of the golden era of the Elizabethan age at the San Diego Renaissance Faire.
Handicapped: The smooth terrain of the well-kept lawns of Balboa Park ensures that the entire faire is wheelchair accessible. Please remember this is an outdoor event.
